Arrival by car

Motorway "Inntalautobahn (A12)" - exit Zillertal, federal highway B 169 or if you don't want to pay the toll you have to drive via the Achensee or the federal highway from Kiefersfelden - Wörgl - Rattenberg 
A10  motorway "Tauernautobahn" to Werfen, B 311 to Schwarzach, Zell am See, then along the B 168 to Mittersill and further via the B 165
A 12 if you come from Munich until the exit Kufstein Süd (St- Johann-Kitzbühel-Paß Thurn) and further on the B 165

Arrival by train

to the railway station Jenbach (also for express trains) and from there you have to take the steam-powered train "Zillertalbahn" or a bus from the Zillertal Traffic Enterprise to Zell am Ziller and then you have to continue by bus to Gerlos.
